A really well-done article this morning from the Wall Street Journal (CLICK HERE) for all of you amateur economists (like me). Also, it’s very important to understand that many pundits keep talking about “green shoots,” but either I’m color blind or they’re delusional. Increases in aggregate demand driven only by new dollars from the Fed does NOT constitute real green shoots of growth, just a fertilizer-driven green up without any true stem to back it up.

Paul Krugman writes again in the New York Times with his usual socialist, collectivist, statist fervor. As an economist, he is taking a macroeconomic view of the world, which means he views the world from the top down, as any “elite” person would. He views the world top down where government and the ruling, intellectual elites make decisions that affect the rest of us, for our own collective good–presumably because we’re just not capable.
