Bernanke’s $500B Foreign Policy

Watch this video to understand why unrestrained, unchecked Federal power is a bad thing. I happen to still believe that $500B is a large sum of money to be just handed around. I also happen to believe that at a minimum we should have some direct representation in the decision to hand out such money. But, alas, the Federal Reserve doesn’t think we should have the power to review their decisions, even when the decisions represent political foreign policy on a massive scale.

To put this in perspective, altogether, the US Congress doled out less than $20B in all foreign aid COMBINED last year. The amount that Bernanke is talking about is 25 times that!!!!

Unbelievable to me…
